Thor is a member of an Asgardian god Pantheon. He is the god of thunder was worshipped by the Vikings and the Proto-Germans. He is the son of Odin, king of Asgard.
After Thor and some of his friends tried to kill some Frost Giants, he nearly began a war between his people and the giants. Odin, deeply disappointed in him, stripped him of his powers and exiled him to Earth. He was found in the middle of the desert by Jane Foster and her colleague, Darcy.
Thor is played by Chris Hemsworth.
